  1. 4/24/2009 PLATTE CANYON HOSTING HOA WATER CONSERVATION SEMINAR

Platte Canyon Water and Sanitation District will be hosting a seminar for Homeowner Associations (HOAs) on May 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.  Tim LaPan from Denver Water will be available to assist HOAs in finding ways through Denver Water's programs to conserve water throughout their communities.  Tim LaPan will then be available to set up individual meetings with HOAs on site.
     
    The incentive program that is available offers payments to large irrigation customers who complete an irrigation system replacement, controller/equipment upgrades or water saving landscape improvements.  The annual incentive payment is $7,000 per acre foot of water saved prorated over a five year period.  Plus, Denver water will provide up to $10,000 of design assistance for projects that include landscape and/or irrigation upgrades. Some of the other free programs include a free irrigation system audit, annual water use reports and cost-comparison analysis.
